This program is intended for physicians and other health care professionals who are interested in the management of invasive fungal infections. No specific knowledge other than familiarity with the principles of microbiology will be required for successful participation in this activity.

Upon completion of this program, participants should be able to:

Understand the toxicities and interactions of the discussed anti-fungal agents
Understand prevention and empiric treatment of invasive fungal infections in cancer patients
Explain the current therapy for invasive candidiasis
Understand the current and innovative therapies for prevention of invasive fungal infections in hematopoietic cell transplant recipients
