Target Audience:
This activity is intended for clinicians and researchers interested in practical uses for antifungal therapies. Persons participating should have a working knowledge of basic microbiology and/ or infectious diseases.

After successfully completing this program, participants should be able to:
Identify the clinical science of echinocandins and the ways in which echinocandin therapy can be utilized in clinical practice
Recognize the importance of laboratory involvement in disease management
Understand the latest efforts in echinocandin therapy toward resistant candidiasis
Compare efficacy of echinocandin therapy with other therapies for candidiasis
